The three primary colors of light are red, green and blue. The combination of the three gives white. But what if you combine them in twos? To do this, disconnect one of the resistors in the previous circuit and let the other two connected. What color did you get? When you:

remove the resistor that gives green and keep the red and blue ones connected, you get magenta;
remove the resistor that gives blue and keep the red and green ones connected, you get yellow;
remove the resistor that gives red and keep the green and blue ones connected, you get cyan.
Magenta, yellow and cyan are the three secondary colors of light.
