Introduction

With the goal of improving the understanding of digital tools used in different activities, we use images (namely, screenshots), that are property of the owners of these tools.

Electricity is as fascinating as it can be frightening! We use it every day, often without even realizing it. That’s what makes your fridge at home work. And it allows you to charge tablets and cellphones and it powers computers. It’s what lets you turn on the light! And lots of other things!
In this activity, you’ll learn to connect a special LED with three colors (red, green and blue) and get it to light. To do this, you’ll build an electric circuit using Tinkercad.

What you will learn
• Identify the three primary colors of light: red, green and blue;
• Understand that the combination of the three primary colors gives white;
• Recognize the name and function of some electronic components;
• Build an electric circuit in Tinkercad;
• Recognize the existence and importance of electronics in the world around us.
