• Sometimes we associate certain sensations with meanings that have nothing to do with them. The colour red is something we can see, yet we often associate it with warmth, a sensation related to touch. We call this phenomenon synesthesia. Synesthesia also happens with colours and sounds. Close your eyes and listen to a song you like. What colour do you think of?

• Create songs on Kandinsky. Invite your family and friends to listen to them, and ask them which colours they associate with certain sounds. Some answers will be very different. Others will be surprisingly similar!
